I have the privilege of being the Yankee of Vintage Staff. I grew up in Southwest Ohio where I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Speech Communications. Not all things are bad in the North though. There I met and married my bride, Rachel (no kids yet). As I’m continuing my theological education, I have the privilege of serving Vintage Church as the Theology and Training Director. Learning and teaching all things theological is my passion. I long to see a generation of believers in Christ who have a desire to learn more about their faith and teach it to others.

Rob Russell
Pastoral Intern

From a young age, Rob has had a strong desire to spend his life sharing the Gospel and making disciples. Raised an hour north of New Orleans in Covington, LA, Rob grew up attending Northlake Christian School. Upon graduating, he was accepted into Tulane University where he is currently studying political science with plans to attend seminary upon finishing his degree. In his first year at Tulane, Rob’s former youth minister, a college friend of Rob Wilton, connected Him with Vintage Church. Since then Rob has served with Vintage, most recently as the pastoral intern. He has also served alongside Rob Wilton for two summers at the MissionLab organization. Having seen God work in the lives of youth over the course of the past two summers, Rob is excited to see God continue to move in the lives of youth in New Orleans.
