What we are all about:
vKidz is all about simply that: Vintage Kidz! We are a fun and exciting ministry opportunity in which you get to teach kidz and their families about Jesus Christ. vKidz occurs at the 9:00 service at our Metairie campus and the 10:30 service at our Uptown campus. As a vKidz volunteer you will be expected to serve once a month. You will also be expected to attend a once a month meeting with all vKidz volunteers in order to complete training and fellowship.
What serving looks like:
You will get your lesson the week before you serve and be expected to study it during the week. You will meet at the vKidz building one hour before service time to participate in a short devotional and a time in prayer. Once children arrive you will welcome them, play with them, teach them about Jesus, and simply love on them.
Requirements/Qualifications:

The Production Team covers quite a lot of ground and sets the stage for Gospel communication at Vintage. From setup and tear-down of chairs and equipment, to operating technical gear during service, to creating art and media which enhances the worship experience, there’s a place for you in production.
Production is divided into the Setup Crew, Production Crew, and Vintage Creatives.

What are first impressions worth? Statistically, visitors form an opinion of the “church” within 3 seconds of contact (or lack there of) with the people of that “church”. We are called to BE the Church in the culture to connect people to Christ and His mission. One of the most strategic and practical ways we do that here at Vintage is our Connect Team.
Each week at both campuses, a rotating group of team members assemble a little early to pray and prepare for those God will bring to the gathering(s). We get the privilege of greeting them as they arrive, assist their families with directions/ministry and even connect them to a Community Group. Our mission is to be relational and intentional in not only making people feel welcome, but helping them to connect. If you would like to learn more or be a part of this incredible ministry, please contact Tim Bray.
