Vintage Kidz happens Sundays @ both gatherings (9am & 10:30am)
Our vision for Vintage Kidz is to create an environment focused on Jesus and one in which He leads our ministry. We want to impact the lives of our children and their families, showing them the love of Jesus Christ. We also desire to provide all children with a safe, fun, creative environment to learn.
It is our mission to ensure that all of the children in our care are taught biblical principles in creative, thought provoking ways. We want to encourage our children to be themselves and discover the unique gifts God has given them. We will teach children the Gospel and help in leading them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord, then encouraging them in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and obeying all of His commands.
Vintage Kidz believes that every child is a precious gift from God. Because of this, every child should be treated with love and respect. It is our responsibility to our children and to their parents to provide an environment in which the children feel comfortable, loved, and able to play and be themselves. We also believe that children look up to adult leaders. We take seriously the responsibility to be positive role models for them. A successful children’s ministry is made up of a team of parents, volunteers, ministry staff and the entire church body. We would love for you to be a part of our team!

Directions to Vintage Kidz
ON SUNDAY MORNINGS:
Vintage Kidz meets for both Vintage gatherings at the old Mattie’s Little Angel’s building, located at 4432 Magazine St. Our teachers arrive at least 30 minutes before each Vintage gathering to receive your child. You will be asked to sign in your child with our Vintage Kidz volunteers.
Please Note:
If your child is 2 years old or younger, please bring a bag every time your child attends Vintage Kidz. Also please include the following items when packing your child’s bag:
- Two or three disposable diapers
- Wipes
- Pacifier or other item, should your child need it for security
- A complete change of clothes for accidents
- A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water. If formula, please mix before arriving.
*Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving at Vintage Kidz. This helps us keep track of your child’s items.
Snacks may be provided for the children who are 12 months and older. If your child has a food allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child. We encourage packing a snack for your child if he/she has a food allergy.
Vintage Kidz Wellness Policy
A wellness policy exists for the safety of everyone involved with Vintage Kidz. Out of consideration to other children, parents, and volunteers our policy requires that children who are ill will not be allowed into the nursery or classrooms. Specifically, we ask that you refrain from bringing your child to Vintage Kidz if he/she is experiencing one or more of the following symptoms:
- Fever 100 or over, even if reduced with medication
- Vomiting
- Persistent diarrhea, even if caused by an antibiotic or other medication
- Skin rashes
- Coughing associated with a respiratory infection
- Runny nose which has a yellow or green discharge
- Pinkeye, which is often accompanied by a yellow/green discharge or thick drainage from the eye
- Parasites such as nits, lice, mites or ringworm
- Earache, headache, or sore throat
If during Vintage Kidz our volunteers determine that your child needs parental/guardian assistance, the number assigned for your child will appear on the screen in the adult gathering. Should your child’s number appear, please return to Vintage Kidz promptly to attend to the needs of your child. Thank you very much for your understanding.
