Vintage Mission

Vintage Mission is an extension of Vintage Church in our attempt to minister to the city of Uptown New Orleans.  Once a quarter, everyone invloved with Vintage will be encouraged to participate in a project that will show love to our community. The projects will vary from passing out waters at Audubon Park to helping local shop owners fix up their stores - the sky’s the limit because there are many things we can do to be Jesus to this city.

So what can you do?

First: Don’t wait for the once a quarter time to minister to people.  As believers in Christ, we should be living missionally already.  By living missionally, we should be prepared to give money to those in need, provide dinner for those who are hungry, to pick up trash in the French Quarter, to meet needs as we encounter them.  We are Jesus to this city and He has called us to be his disciples.

Second: Through living missionally, you may have ideas or know a way that we can better serve our community.  Let us know about these so that we can help to meet that need.

Third: Show up to love on this city.  Expect God to work through us as we are His witnesses here in New Orleans and to the ends of the earth.

Mission Day Recap

We had a great turnout for Mission Day on the 20th and we had a fantastic time serving the community, spreading the word about our church launch, and getting ready for Baptism Sunday. Thanks to everyone who showed up and lent a hand!
